After long search we finally found our tree! Yellow Thai sweet Mango tree.

"Chok anan" or honey mango. Famous in Thailand for the desert served with sticky rice.

Fits in our garden nicely.

We will not put in ordinary grass

but "rumput mutiara" which is common alternative to grass here on Bali.

searching for trees...

We searched for trees. I liked this one. It looks like ancient tree from dinosaur times.

But Anggi was not sure it fits in to our flower garden theme

Anggi liked butterfly tree. But the shape of tree was not the nicest

We liked mangosteen, but this tree was not very healthy either

Mango trees are very common and popular. There are big farms selling it.

It is an industrial plant used to produce fruit. Which means trees must be strong and healthy.

It can grow large and produce nice shade.

They made this one in an interesting shape. So we decided this is our tree!

We put concrete pipe to protect against aggressive roots making damage to foundation.

Special fertilizer is added.

Tree inserted.

and watered.

An inspector checked if it is ok?

They told us it will grow at least 5 meters tall.
