Quality issues

 

After a very long time of nothing happening, things finally started to move forward. I was so happy to see this. But then at the second look, I realized: that light fixture! whaaat...?!

This is not how I draw it ?!

Rod should be thin and gray, and spheres should be much bigger.

All this created very complicated dynamic between my neighbor (who employed me), her husband and builder (who made that light). There was some confusion who is in charge. Design is very emotional process. Well: she is, and she agreed with her architect (me), that that fixture just will not do. She is already at the shop, this is the best she could find. The gold on top may be too much, maybe not. She purchased only one, so that we will check on the spot. If it is ok, she buys the other three. Maybe we can paint it gray.

They send us finished tiles, which fist made me excited and happy. But soon I realized colors are off.

Not same at all. 

Red/orange, earth color (what we chose)

Red/purple, wine color (what they made)

Everything is moved towards the blue spectrum. And not just a little. It makes them look industrial and poisonous instead of earth tones. The problem is: I was already pushing them to the limit with contrast and saturation, there is not much room for error to begin with. But this pushed them way pass the acceptable colors. If these are the tiles, we will not use them at all. 

Kitchen tiles are off too.

I might live with this green. I mean, it is kind of jungle. but yellow has no contrast. eh.. Anggi chose this one, and she is not happy.

False alarm. They are like we wanted them. 

I panicked too soon. Huh.
