Java sound spirits

For the past few mornings I heard music playing. Not loud, but surprisingly clear. They start at 5 am. I typically go to sleep at 21h, so this is the time I wake up. This sort of music (this one is from West Java, we are in the East now)

This morning me and Anggi went on a mission to find the source of this sound. But as we walk, the sound is getting louder and weaker, sometimes it seems like it is coming from another direction. ????

... We are walking and walking...

Is the sound coming from this house with musical doors?

Is it coming from a rock with flower eyes?

I aknow!  It is volcanoes singing:  “....do not forget your roots Java people....”

"...we are gosts...    ...singing from all directions..."

...and we walk...

...and walk...

And then we find it!

After some unexpected turns. We finally found it!

The one concern I had with the volume of these speakers is: my internal organs! The level of air pressure coming from them shook them from the inside!

It was a few day wedding celebration, lot of people there. When we came, it was as if aliens 👽 arrived: all we did is ask: so what are the songs you are playing? We took a photo of a CD, say thank you and left. You should see their faces: totally. like ??? whaaat?

And this is the music, I found on Youtube.

The explanation for weird and unexpected sound effects: The fact it is a line source (line of speakers) makes the sound propagate more horizontally, losing less volume with distance. It was propagated all over the place, reflecting from buildings in unexpected ways. It was omnipresent... The sound was also surprisingly clear and nice! No room reflections to screw it up.

And so the mystery of ghostly sounds was solved. My first proper psychedelic experience. I expect much more of those in Bali.
